General Practitioners

Healthaction Liverpool is recruiting dynamic GPs, on a full time or part time basis, to work in our four patient-focused practices across Liverpool.

Working as part of our motivated and professional Healthaction team, you will bring your innovation and enthusiasm to our patients. Healthaction took over four general practices in April 2017 and our ethos is simple: we want to provide excellent clinical care within an open and transparent culture.

Addaction (our parent company) has a strong history of growing and nurturing staff. We bring that culture into general practice, with genuine investment in our workforce. We pride ourselves on a supportive outlook – as a not-for-profit organisation we are a flexible and progressive employer, offering research and teaching opportunities and career planning. We welcome your input to influence our model and develop our service – giving you a chance to be part of something different.

Our services are built around the needs of our patients. So if you want to put patients at the heart of what you do and be part of a new way of working, then this is the right place for you.

About you

Confident and motivated, highly organised, personable, able to adapt to change and an effective team player, you’ll have excellent written and oral communication skills and the desire to enable patients to look after their health.

About us

We’re not the NHS, but we’re the first not-for-profit to take on a general practice contract. We promise to invest in our patients’ health – we don’t have stakeholders so every investment we make is in our patients and our staff.

At Healthaction, we believe in patients being heard and being seen. We’re heavily involved locally and we have a community approach to healthcare. Ours is a human response – we put people first and try to join up everything that’s going on in someone’s life.
