Clinical Director

 

Healthaction Liverpool is recruiting a Clinical Director to shape and lead Addaction’s Primary Care delivery – Healthaction.  Based in Liverpool and undertaking both Clinical leadership and GP duties (approximately 50:50 split), the role will support and capture the learning from our Primary Care services locally to shape, inform and lead the development of Healthaction nationally.

Taking a national lead role alongside Addaction’s Associate Medical Director team and reporting to the Healthaction Board, this role is a key part of Addaction’s National clinical infrastructure.

Healthaction took over four general practices in April 2017 and our ethos is simple: we want to provide excellent clinical care within an open and transparent culture. Leading Healthaction’s growth, you will have highly developed leadership and organisational skills and be able to support the delivery of Healthaction practices to provide safe, patient centric, compassionate care. Working as part of our motivated and professional Healthaction team, you will bring your innovation and enthusiasm to our patients. The post holder will work alongside the Healthaction Contracts Manager to bring GP services that are designed around the needs of our patients and the local community.

Confident and motivated, highly organised, personable, able to adapt to change and an effective team player, you’ll have excellent written and oral communication skills and the desire to enable patients to look after their health.

All frontline staff are supported by both clinical and organisational supervision in a two-way process. We listen to our staff and develop our services with their input. We support medics and nurses with appraisal and revalidation and allied health professionals with their own professional development requirements. We are committed to supporting staff with CPD and training.
